CHICAGO – MAY '09

A few weeks ago I was watched Anthony Bourdain on No Reservations eat a sandwich at the Silver Palm in Chicago.
It's called the "Three Little Piggy Sandwich" and Bourdain finishes every bite then declares: "This is a work of genius, in an evil way....
A two-fisted symphony of pork, cheese, fat, and starch... that sandwich is the greatest sandwich in America.
This is the apex of the sandwich-making art... the sandwich that dreams are made of."

I then knew exactly where I was going to take Cory there for our 13th anniversary dinner.

Let me tell you, this sandwich is not for the faint at heart. Just scroll on down past our images below, and view the
No Reservations video to see the details of what it is all about.

So on a nice Thursday afternoon in Chicago, we walked from River North to the corner of Milwaukee & Chicago and
found ourselves surrounded by groovy pin-up art and the first diners for the evening in the old train car restaurant.
Great atmosphere, fantastic staff, and the owner was even sitting at the bar. Cool!

Happy Anniversary Babe!
